Wedding Suits Ireland – At Hunter Treacy Tailors, we specialise in custom or Made to Measure Wedding Suits. Our Made to Measure Suits are all made using the finest Italian Fabrics and are made to your EXACT measurements from scratch. There are over 200 processes that go in to each of our wedding suits to ensure you get the perfect fit.
We’ve created a lot of Wedding Suits since we’ve started tailoring for the fine men of Ireland and we’ve received a lot of different questions! This short article aims to address the top 10 Questions we get asked for Wedding suits.
Our custom or tailored made Wedding Suits start at €749 for a two piece in our standard fabrics. A three piece Wedding Suit starts at €949 and a Tuxedo Wedding Suit would start at €899. Again this all depends on the fabric of your wedding suit, our ‘basic fabrics’ are still luxury Italian suit fabrics. A typical Wedding Suit costs around €999 including a made to measure shirt.
We recommend leaving as long as possible before your Wedding Day to get a suit but a minimum of 6-8 weeks to allow enough time for any fittings that may be required. There are over 200 processes that go in to each and every suit and we want to make sure that every suit we make is perfect. If you leave less than 6 weeks, we may not be able to accomodate you.
It’s totally dependent on your budget! We can offer excellent value if you’re purchasing more than one Wedding Suit but if you don’t want to break the bank then we usually recommend getting a Made to Measure Suit for yourself, and then getting some off the rack options for your groomsmen. Your Wedding Day is all about your and your bride so definitively focus on that, your lads won’t mind!
A made to measure suit typically takes a minimum of 6 weeks but recommened giving yourself 3 months before your Wedding Day to get started. The last thing you want is a last minute rush. We can make a suit in 3 weeks at an additional cost. We aim to have all suits back in 6-8 weeks.
A Hunter Treacy Tailor Made-to-Measure Suit is the closest thing to a bespoke suit but at a fraction of the cost. With a regular suit, you are limited to the off the rack fabrics and sizes, which may not be suitable for you if you’re after something a little more tailored to you. Of course, you can alter an off the rack suit, but a personally tailored suit holds no comparison in terms of fit and style.
What are your standard terms of payment?
100% Payment in Advance. We take a smaller than usual margin from our suits and so require payment up front.
Generally, one visit is enough for us to go through all your requirements for your Suit. If you feel you need longer let us know and we can arrange a second visit, you can always pop in store if you need to have a quick chat for any reason.
We have over 4,000 fabrics to choose from so you have plenty of choices.
First, you’ll arrange an appointment to meet me(Sean). We’ll spend an hour or so going through your requirements, viewing fabrics, going through styles and then if you find something you like, some people like to go away and think about it, I’ll measure you up, finalise your order and take payment. You’ll then come back in 6 weeks for your next fitting (most of the time, the suits are good to go at this point).
